Funded childcare explained
Govermnent funding is designed to help make high-quality nursery care more affordable for families. Depending on your child’s age and your family’s circumstances, you may be able to access funded childcare or support with the cost of your nursery fees.
30 Hours Funding
The 30 hours funded childcare offer is designed to help eligible
working families reduce the cost of nursery care. If you qualify,
you may be able to receive up to 30 funded hours a week for
38 weeks of the year.

15 Hours Funding
All children are usually entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare a week for 38 weeks of the year from the term after their third birthday. Some children may also be eligible for 15 funded hours from the term after they turn 2, depending on family circumstances.
Tax-Free Childcare
Tax-Free Childcare is government support that can help boost your
childcare budget. For every 80p you pay into your childcare account,
the government adds 20p, up to £2,000 per child each year.
